Ultra-social animal

According to the research in evolutionary psychology and anthropology humans are especially cooperative among mammals and other primates like bees and ants are the most cooperative among insects (Wilson, 2012). During the evolution of cooperation humans became interdependent with one another that changed not only their social behavior but also cognition (M. Tomasello, 2014). They felt commitment toward one another as they worked together. They shared the spoils in hunting with fairness and justice because they cared about one another and felt obligations. They wanted to be perceived as cooperative. That’s why it would be more precise to call humans “the cooperative animal” or “ultra-social animal” (M. Tomasello, 2014)
